Beachside Boutique Homes joins hands to organize a community fundraiser supporting child drowning prevention
On the morning of October 5, at Tân Thành Fishing Village (Hội An Tây Ward), the Community Market & Charity Run “Just Keep Swimming” took place — co-hosted by Beachside Boutique Homes, Salt Hoian, Wide Eyed Tours & Travel, and local partners in Hội An.

A heartfelt mission born from real stories
Every year, heartbreaking stories of child drowning continue to surface - quiet tragedies that leave deep scars on families and communities alike. In coastal cities like Đà Nẵng and Hội An, where rivers and the sea are part of daily life, teaching children swimming and water safety skills is not just beneficial but vital.
With that in mind, this event was created to raise funds for Swim Vietnam – a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Vietnamese children gain essential swimming and survival skills, aiming to prevent drowning accidents and save young lives.

“Just Keep Swimming”—Every step counts
The Just Keep Swimming Charity Swim & Run gathered over 100 participants of all ages—each stride symbolizing hope and opportunity for a child to learn how to swim safely.
All registration fees (USD 25 per participant) were donated directly to Swim Vietnam to support their ongoing classes and outreach programs.

A community market connecting the highlands and the coast
Beyond the race, the program also served as a bridge between communities — showcasing clean, homegrown produce from farmers in Tiên Phước (Quảng Nam) and ethnic minorities from the mountainous areas of Đà Nẵng, alongside organic products crafted by young local entrepreneurs.

Culture, creativity, and connection
Visitors and locals enjoyed a day full of cultural and creative experiences — from hands-on craft workshops with local artisans, folk games, and street performances, to the lively lion dance, a traditional highlight during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Hội An.

Thanks to the collective effort and generosity of everyone involved, the event successfully raised 55 million VND — funding free swimming lessons for over 100 children. The highland produce stalls sold out completely, a beautiful reflection of solidarity, compassion, and shared purpose within the community.

With the message “Each step, each market stall – a meaningful contribution to the community”, this event became more than just a fundraiser — it was a celebration of unity, empathy, and action, reminding us all that together, we can build a future free from the pain of drowning.
